When I first run XBMC and point it to my movie library, it scans for about 10-15 minutes and finds everything. But if I add a new movie to my external drive, it will not show up in my movies the next time I run XBMC. When I was using Win7 on my laptop it worked fineI’d rip a movie, add it to my external, then plug the external drive into my HTPC and the library would update. I just wrote it off as a coincidence.
