Aajjeee, It sounds like you still have the game installed, is that correct? If so, it's not going to let you install again, instead, it's just going to give you the 'Play' option. Playing in windowed mode should alleviate the color issues you're seeing in Windows 7. Right click on the Diablo II: Lord of Destruction shortcut and choose properties. In the target box after the last quotation, press the space bar once and type in -w Your target line should look something like 'C: Program Files Diablo II Diablo II.exe' -w When you start the game, the game should now be in a window. If you don't want it any more, you will have to exit out of the game and delete the -w from the shortcut.

Make sure that you have a space between the.exe' and the -w. You can maximize the game window afterwards which will fill up most of the screen. If you want it completely filled, you can also add the -nofixaspect tag to the command line which will stretch the window to fit. After >20h of trying, I finally made it. First, after registering the codes on this website, I put up a VirtualMachine with XP to download the installer (it didnt work on Win 7) then I put the files on a usb drive and ran it on my win 7. Then, since the patch didnt work, I uninstalled and installed it again outside of program files, the patch still didnt work so I downloaded the 1.13C after witch he installed the 1.13D automaitcally. Now I have access to online and colors are fine since my win 7 is 32 bit. Thanks again, I would'nt have been able to do this without you.
